Patients with Osteogenesis Imperfecta as a result of mutations in KDELR2 experience many bone fractures due to high bone fragility, short length and abnormally shaped bones. Other typical symptoms of Osteogenesis Imperfecta, such as blue coloration of the white part of the eye, tooth fragility and heart problems may also exist.
