Clinical features and inheritance
Biallelic mutations in the UNC45A gene cause an autosomal recessive disorder characterized mainly by congenital diarrhea, cholestasis causing pruritus, bone fragility and hearing impairment.
Prevalence
The disorder is rare as only 4 patients have been reported in 2018. Additional knowledge is needed.
