Treatment for KCNB1-related disorders is multidisciplinary and depends on the type and severity of the neurodevelopmental disorders, epilepsy and associated disorders.
• Neurodevelopmental disorders including ASD need special education and rehabilitation holistic program.
• Seizure management strategy includes a combination of antiepileptic drugs, use of non pharmacologic therapies as vagal nerve stimulation and ketogenic diet.
• Patients (when possible) and families education programs to empower the care givers and the patients are key to the succes of care program
