The management of patients will benefit by the habilitation workup designed for children with mild, moderate, and severe intellectual disability. Speech therapy and physiotherapy should be started early in life, to promote the best reachable milestones in language, communication, coordination, and walking. Close surveillance should be assured for possible onset of seizures, whether or not during infections, to prevent with an appropriate treatment their effect on a more severe impairment of the phenotype. Behavioral issues should be carefully diagnosed and appropriately treated. Coordination and gait imbalances may require the use of aids.
