Management

Included in the management of a patient with hypopituitarism are replacement of hormone deficiencies, regular screening for the development of new pituitary hormone deficiencies, and monitoring and management of other consequences of hypopituitarism, such as cardiometabolic risk factors, bone health, and wellbeing of the patient. Treatment may include surgery to correct polydactyly and the facial defects.
