Patients with Prolidase Deficiency often have skin lesions. They are typically chronic and painful skin ulcers on the feet. Other lesions of the face and hands are also common. Other clinical characteristics common to patients with Prolidase Deficiency include recurrent infections, particularly of the skin and respiratory tract, chronic lung disease, developmental delay of variable degree, and enlarged spleen and liver.
