SLC45A1-related disorder is rare autosomal recessive disorder and so far only 5 patients have been reported. All affected individuals have delays in their development and intellectual disability. In addition, affected individuals can have epilepsy, neuropsychiatric features (such as autistic traits, obsessive compulsive traits and behavioural issues), and cardiac or renal anomalies.
