The TPP2 deficiency is a very rare condition leading to autoimmune thrombocytopenia (low platelets levels) and hemolytic anemia, infection predisposition and some degree of developmental delay. Some patient may develop some behavioral issues as well as autoimmune disorders.
There is a milder form in adults resembling multiple sclerosis, which manifests by neurological signs and symptoms.
