A research program is in progress in Dr. Ferreiro’s lab aiming at understanding the pathophysiological role of ASC-1 in muscle and other tissues, as well as phenotype-genotype correlations. Collaborative recruitment of information on new cases, additional TRIP4 mutations and patient-derived material (cells, muscle biopsies) is ongoing.
