Novel gene websites can be adopted by a (small) team of professionals with knowledge of the genetic disorder and a long term commitment to moderate the specific gene website. This team preferably consist of a clinician and molecular geneticist/biologist.
Moderators will have the responsibility for the content of the website. They do not need to have experience in managing a website. We have a dedicated team of people who will support with the practical issues.
Moderators will have the opportunity to publish the collected cases if there is proper informed consent and with the approval of the referring clinician agrees. HDG does not claim intellectual property for the cases collected on this website.
