COG4

Clinical Characteristics

A deficiency of COG4 leads to seizures, developmental delay, and abnormalities in liver function tests.

An increased in the activity of COG4 leads to marked short stature starting before birth, clubfoot, blunting of the fingertips, a large soft spot, and prominent eyes. Cataracts are common in childhood, while changes in the back of the eye (retina) develop over time.
