Based on clinical data set and longitudinal data, disease specific management and surveillance strategies will be developed. The general management advice is as follows:
Treatment of manifestations
Physiotherapy for feeding problems and motor delay, speech therapy and other interventions to augment communication, occupational therapy, and educational programs directed to specific disabilities identified. Engagement with psychiatry or psychology for behavioral manifestations of the condition including autism, autistic-like behaviors, anxiety, and ADHD. Routine treatment of renal and urologic problems, cryptorchidism, seizures, strabismus, constipation, and urinary tract infections.
Surveillance
Routine ophthalmologic examinations for strabismus. Monitoring for urologic complications. Seizure precautions due to increased risk of seizures.
