Individuals with FBXW7-related syndrome have intellectual disability. This condition is rare and can be inherited, or occur randomly as a new mutation in the child of unaffected parents. This condition affects both sexes equally. If an affected individual were to have a child, there is a 50% chance that the child would be affected as well.
