Glomerulopathy with fibronectin deposits 2 (GFND2) is characterized by proteinuria, microscopic hematuria, hypertension, and progressive renal dysfunction that leads to end-stage renal failure. Nephrotic syndrome was also described in affected patients. Six of fifteen affected families have mutations in the FN1 gene. It is inherited in an autosomal dominant manner.
