Diagnosis of AMDM is based on the outcomes of detailed clinical assessment, identification of distinctive features, and advanced imaging techniques.
Therapies for AMDM are then chosen based on clinical phenotype and are usually a combination of physical therapy, braces, casts, and/or corrective surgery. Genetic counselling can be recommended for families of affected individuals and their caretakers.
