SATB2-associated syndrome (SAS, Glass syndrome) is a rare genetic condition that affects development and several other body systems. in addition to severely affected speech, behavioral difficulties, teeth issues, bone abnormalities, and problems in the roof of the mouth are also possible.
SAS is a genetic disorder. In most situations, only a single person in the family is affected. We estimate that approximately 1/30,000 individuals have this diagnosis.
