Shprintzen-Goldberg syndrome (SGS) is a rare connective tissue disorder affecting multiple organ systems resulting in craniofacial, skeletal and cardiovascular manifestations. The disease is caused by genetic defects in the SKI gene which arise de novo, meaning the parents do not express the disease.
