There is no cure for TANGO2-related neurological disorder. Management is multi-disciplinary and related to specific complications including treatment of epilepsy and spasticity by appropriate medications. Patients should receive periodic cardiac surveillance to evaluate for arrythmias. During acute metabolic crisis, patients should receive dextrose containing intravenous fluids for extra caloric supplementation. Given pathogenesis is related to mitochondrial dysfunction, a trial of coenzyme Q10 and riboflavin has been proposed. Specific agents to avoid in this disorder include QT prolonging medications and ketogenic diet.
